I can see clearly now the RAM is gone - computer humor

Ahhhh...........Is it possible I'm getting a break? God has decided to have more mercy on me?

My mother packs up her laptop and mails it to me from GA. God love her. And it arrives wrapped in bubble wrap, packed in a box with peanuts, inside another box with peanuts. I got pics of the kids in the box with the peanuts. Cute stuff!

So I load the blasted VB.Net from the DVD that the book sent. All it loads as smooth as silk and then.........to activate you have to go online. It says, "this program has been loaded on the maximum number of computers allowed." Doggy doo!

Sooooo, I contact a friend of mine who WON the program and loans me his copy to use till the end of the class. God bless Big Tom. And so now I have a computer to use while hubby is at work or travel. My desktop is still in pieces, but I have a case and a power supply for whenever the motherboard arrives. That and my buddy Adam gave me some cool lights for the inside being that the case has a window. Provided it all works, (everyone cross fingers, say a prayer) it should glow purple.

Now, if I can catch up with homework before the end of the semester, I get to graduate the 13th of May. Yeah for me! That's two degrees over here I'll take.

On the other side, Bubs has a fever of 104.3 from the armpit. The nurse didn't seem alarmed as I was. We'll see how he is in the morning. Night all!
