As it was one explained to me: Put God first - and do as you please. If you make God your priority, you will receive the blessings of Abraham. (Deut. 28) Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
I do not consider myself a good witness of God, for I falter every day. However, I know where I stand. I know firmly what I believe. I know what I have seen and I know what I have experienced. There's not a soul out there that can convince me He's not real nor that He isn't everything He has claimed in the Bible. Because of this, I am a spoiled person.
The water used to come all the way up to this point. This is one of two arcs that are not filled in.
If I'm not mistaken, isn't this the Harry Potter school? At least that's what I was told. It is an actual school there in London.
I'M HERE!
Here it is, the entry to Buckingham Palace. The little golden things on the top of the poles are angels.
This is the upclose picture to the poles. There are several of these surrounding the palace.
And look! Another, really big clock! It is considered very rude to show up late - therefore they do their best to make sure you have no excuse. Maybe we should consider this....
The famous spinning Scotland Yard sign. Kinda neat to be here. Makes me think of all the stories I've read about.
Lambeth Bridge. Guess where this leads too..
Lambeth Palace. (as well as some dude's bald head) Bet he enjoyed this as well...
This is Victorian Gardens. The story is that Queen Victoria put this together herself.
This is the highlight of the Victorian gardens. I found this very pretty. Kinda makes me think of those highly decorated eggs. The next time I go to London, I'm spending more time on foot! Now I know where to go and what all I want to see. Who wants to join me?
Gotta love all the round-abouts. Tell me, how would you handle the traffic coming at you from the wrong side of the street?
Oh I was so excited to see this! Behind these doors, is where the meeting was held that decided that the Titanic sank because of the collision of an iceberg. Also, that there were not enough people placed in the existing row boats and that all ships of that size were to have many more life boats on deck. Can you possibly imagine how that meeting went?
Here it is....West Minster Abbey! Even through the distant trees it's majestic and intriguing.
This isn't the best picture I have, which causes me to hesitate before posting. Still shows some very beautiful architecture. Just gorgeous.
This reminds me how young our country is in comparison. Here we are in our second century and they have us beat by a long shot.
So impressive. I could stand there for hours. I would be the tourist that stares through the zoom in her camera at all the detail, making people cock their heads as they walk by. It's positively wonderful. (with another clock)
I'm told that Princess Diana's body was brought through this door, under the face of Jesus. For all she was, good and bad, she will be forever held as a beautiful person to me.
I think to myself, if it's this majestic outside, what is it like inside? Wonder what I have to do to land that privilege? We now say so long to London and head off to another part of England....

Seeing your pics makes me want to go back! Did you get to see the Crown jewels in the Tower of London?
Seeing your pics makes me want to go back! Did you see the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London while you were there? And did you get to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace?
